Criminal Minds Producer’s Letter to Fans

Criminal Minds airs Wednesdays on CBSEdward Allen Bernero, Executive Producer for Criminal Minds wrote a letter to fans of the show. He talks about things that have surprised him, namely that the strike has not ended, the amazing support for the show staff and crew, and that the fans have kept the show in the top ratings for its time slot. It’s pretty awesome when an executive producer of a series takes the time to thank the fans, and let them know what’s going on with the show.

Some good news is there are meetings set for the first of the year with companies who wish to fund programs. Does this mean that the strike is in fact changing the way TV shows are being produced? Time will tell. For now, many of us just want an end to the WGA strike with a good deal for the writers, and have our favorite FBI drama aired. You can read the full letter here. If you’d like to contribute to the Criminal Minds Appreciation Fund over there, please do so generously.

By the way, did you know that Ed Bernero was a Chicago Police Officer for 10 years before he began writing for television?
