Numb3rs’ Dylan Bruno Stars with Brother Chris
While watching the Chinese Box episode of Numb3rs, I saw a face that was naggingly familiar to me. The SWAT captain 
that argued with Agent Granger (portrayed by Dylan Bruno) is actually known as Sheriff Bannerman on the (now defunct) series Dead Zone. What’s even more cool is that he is Chis Bruno, the real-life brother of Dylan.
Dylan Bruno talked to TV Guide about this rare constellation of two brothers both portraying law enforcement officers on the same show. Here are some of the best bits of the interview:
- Dylan reveals that he and producers both got the idea to hire Chris while joking around.
- Dylan and his brother both have a knack for portraying great law enforcement characters.
- Despite the on-screen argument, these brothers hardly ever argue off screen.
Dylan also talks about how he and Chris became actors, and even revealed that Chris dated Diane Farr while they were both in college. I thought it was admirable that Dylan was able to make sure his brother got to play a good role too! You can read the full interview here.
