A.J. Cook Portrays Surrogate Mom for Gay Men
Criminal Minds’ A.J. Cook is set to star with comedian Orlando Jones in an Indie film about a gay man who yearns to
raise a child. The film, Misconceptions, is a comedy-drama directed by Ron Stalof.
A.J. portrays a religiously conservative married woman who gets a sign from God that she must serve as a surrogate mother to two gay men who want to have a child.
Orlando Jones, known for his roles in Drumline, Biker Boyz, and extremely funny antics on Mad TV, portrays the gay character, Terry.
In the film, Terry becomes the king of annoyance as he tries to manage every aspect of the surrogate mom’s pregnancy. There’s no word yet on the release date for the film, but it’s sure to be a hit. Comedy and drama can go either way here, so it’ll be interesting see if one rules!
