Bones “Pilot” Aired Last Night

Bones-pilot-skull

I was nicely surprised because Fox decided to have its “pilot episode” night, which featured episodes of Bones and House.  I had never seen the pilot for Bones, so I settled in for some good TV watching.

The interaction between FBI Agent Booth (David Boreanaz) and Dr. Brennan aka “Bones” (Emily Deschanel) was pretty intense for me, especially since the new developments in the latest season. There was a lot of good character development and lots of sparks as these two seemed to butt heads on their first case together. The writers also managed to throw in some clever pop culture references, which I loved.

If you’re a major Bones fan, there’s a great site called Searching Bones which has all the deep cuts. I’m very happy to count this one as one of our favorite FBI dramas though!

I stand corrected ;-) I hereby reinstate my earlier suggestion of Bones as a teen-friendly FBI drama.

IMHO, Bones has gotten much better over the years.
