Catching Up With Numb3rs’ David Krumholtz

David Krumholtz, star of Numb3rsNumb3rs star David Krumholtz has portrayed all sorts of characters, from elf, to frat boy to a schizophrenic patient in the medical drama, ER. How does this FBI drama star, a working boy from Queens, manage all this versatility? His parents were always proud of him, and very encouraging.

David is set to star in a supporting role in Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, an adventure comedy starring John Cho and Kal Penn, which is scheduled for release this year.

In an interview, David talks about his role as Charlie Eppes on Numb3rs, and how it changed him. He says the role itself has been life altering, saying, “…I never imagined I would play a role like this. I lost some weight, grew my hair and now every woman in America over 40 wants to date me. …” According to him though, it’s not just about having more dating opportunities, but about making a difference, as he said, “…It’s so admirable to be part of a show that wants people to think. …”
