Trivia – The Original FBI Video
So what was the first FBI drama TV show? It’s called The FBI, and aired from 1965 to 1974. Here’s a video of the opening of one of the episodes. This show was based on real 
FBI case files, and featured Efram Zimbalist Jr. as the lead agent. What’s also interesting is that each episode had a case file number which added to the realism.
It’s fun to see how these episodes opened back then. The intro features a floating image of the Pentagon, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and what I believe is the Washington Field Office as it looked back then.
