Video: Criminal Minds’ Garcia Threatens Kevin Lynch
In this video, Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) of Criminal Minds lays down the law with Kevin Lynch (Nicholas Brendon) when it comes to their relationship. This scene is from the episode titled, Damaged, which aired on April 2, 2008. Here’s some background related to the video after the jump. This is FBI drama at its best.
David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) is plagued by memories of his most compelling and unsolved case. He gets up in the middle of the night, and “storms” over to Garcia’s house to confront her about having an incomplete file.
When he arrives, not only is Garcia soaking wet from being in the shower when she answers the door, but moments later, Kevin comes out of the shower, with nothing but a towel, drying his hair. After Rossi leaves, Garcia freaks out about her boss’s new knowledge of her and Kevin’s relationship, as there are rules in place to prevent fraternization between FBI agents and personnel. Garcia’s threat here is pretty funny.
An even better scene is toward the end, in which Kevin in his most chivalrous manner, goes into the BAU office and confronts Rossi about dating Garcia. Both scenes are classic!
