Joe Mantegna’s Role & "Red Belt" Trailer
David Mamet’s new film, Red Belt, which stars Joe Mantegna in a supporting role was featured at The Tribeca Film Festival this week, and here is the official trailer for the movie. Red Belt looks intense, gritty, and seems to tell a tale of a man coming full circle:
Last month I talked about Red Belt, and noted that Mantegna’s role might be a supporting role. Unfortunately I’ve no new specific info on his role. It should be noted that director and writer David Mamet (Wag The Dog, Hannibal) is known for creating very strong characters with agendas to match, so this film definitely has some bite.
Red Belt is about a man who teaches martial arts, gets mixed up in a deal gone bad, and then has to decide how far he’s willing to go to fix the problems he ends up facing. You can catch this film in NY and LA today, and see it nationwide on May 9!
