Mantegna and Sinise Host Memorial Day Concert
Wondering how some of your favorite crime drama stars spent their Memorial Day weekend? Read more about Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise, who spent their time with some amazing musicians on Sunday.
Joe Mantegna, star of Criminal Minds was host along with Gary Sinise (CSI: New York) for the National Memorial Day Concert at the United States Capitol in Washington, DC. In this video, Mantegna talks about the concert and shares a heartwarming story about a family member who was honored. There is some music in the video as well.
The concert aired live on Sunday May 25, on the PBS network, as well as on the American Forces Radio and Television Network.
Both of these guys have worked at supporting veteran’s causes and troops on active duty. The huge list of performers for the concert included Gladys Knight, Sarah Brightman, John Schneider, and the National Symphony Orchestra. The elder statesman on hand was General Colin Powell, USA (Ret.)
It’s interesting to know that some of our favorite TV actors are so passionate about service to their country.
