Numb3rs: Are Charlie And Amita’s Relationship Sealed?

Now that Charlie has met Amita’s parents, things are going well for their relationship, or are they? Alan made the remark to his son Charlie that he has to marry her now.

Some seasons back, it was known that Amita was afraid for Charlie to met her father, as he always expected her to marry a man of Indian descent. Amita’s work, and Charlie’s work have both been reasons (at one time or another) why their relationship stalled at points. Also, she was put off by his apparent lack of knowledge when it came to her feelings for him in the beginning. Charlie decided at some point to just kiss her if I recall, and that was the spark.

Later, Amita finally became comfortable with Charlie by seeing him in a new light, not just as a professor or Charlie, but someone who fit both of these roles. It also didn’t hurt that she’s always admired his beautiful math equations.

Both Amita and Charlie have come a long way over the seasons. Even now, Charlie is still growing. He made the remark that since he’s had his FBI training, he’s qualified to ride. Charlie has exhibited some feelings of insecurity in their relationship (mostly in regards to her parents lately). Now that he’s “in with the parents”, what will he do? Do you want to see them get married?

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I do not like Amita! I don’t know why they think Charlie has to have a girlfriend. Amita has been so nasty and snide to him thru the past 4 seasons, he needs to find a spine and tell her to leave him alone.
