"Numb3rs" Producer Port Writing "Streets" Remake

Numb3rs producer Robert Port along with Sheldon Turner and CBS are making San Francisco safe again with a revisit of the The Streets of San Francisco, the 1970’s TV crime drama.
Will this trifecta of talent pay off, and what are the chances of this being as popular as other series that are and have been making their way back to TV? Only time will tell. Per THR, the plan is to update the series so that it portrays the “same tension” between generations (Vietnam war vs. Iraq war) but to still have the same feel as the original show.

Thought I’d pop in with a quick reminder! Tonight’s episode of Numb3rs is called Burn Rate, and features Don and Charlie Eppes teaming up to find a serial letter bomber who may have eluded conviction in the past.
In this case, a key suspect is a physics professor who works as an consultant for the Department of Defense.
