"Without A Trace’s" Montgomery Is TV Guide Top 10 Female Cop
Without A Trace’s character FBI agent Samantha Spade (Poppy Montgomery) has made the list of TV Guide’s Top 12 Female Cops of All Time.
It’s noted that as No. 4 on the list, she is one of the top 12 because she usually solves cases for the New York Missing Person’s Bureau (“connects the dots”) even though she’s underestimated because of her looks.
Looking at the list of top cops, do you think TV Guide got it right?
Not surprisingly, Kyra Sedgwick’s Closer character, Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson made No. 3. Marg Helgenberger’s role as Catherine Willows on CSI made No. 2. Mariska Hargitay as Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU took the No. 1 spot.
Other FBI agents who made the cut were No. 8 – Vivica A. Fox as Nicole Scott in Missing. Some of the blasts from the past on this list are Heather Locklear in T.J. Hooker, Peggy Lipton for her role in The Mod Squad, and Angie Dickinson as Police Woman.
