I read that Steven Weber is joining Without a Trace. Does that mean Anthony LaPaglia is gone? — JaniceMickey: Weber has only signed on for four episodes, so he’s definitely not replacing LaPaglia. Rather, their characters will be adversaries. Once he’s done ruining Jack’s life, look for Weber to resurface on Brothers & Sisters, where he spent time last season ruining Sarah’s life. The problem with the Armenian money train never seems to end.

Vic and Shane (Walton Goggins) catch up in the form of Vic (Michael Chiklis) kicking Shane all to hell as Shane had Vic’s family “kidnapped” supposedly to protect them from someone much worse. Some have reported an average premiere as far as viewership, but I think those of us who caught this dark horse were rather lucky on Tuesday night.

The Shield: Final Season Begins This Week

The Shield is not an FBI drama. Let’s get that out there. It is however, one of the best crime dramas on cable. Sure, it’s depraved, and depicts a Los Angeles police strike team at its worst, using illegal methods to police the streets of LA.
