Criminal Minds: Paget Brewster Reveals Dark Twists in Tonight’s "Demonology"
Criminal Minds’ star Paget Brewster in a recent interview talks about being featured in tonight’s new episode called Demonology. Check out this short video of her as Agent Prentiss taking a beat down from a crazy cult leader (portrayed by Luke Perry) in the season 4 episode 3, Minimal Loss.
For me, this is one of the most painful scenes to watch, but I’m sure Brewster is very proud of her work here. Read more about her featured role tonight, and of what she reveals about the story.
In Demonology, the team determines that a priest (Bruce Davison) is performing exorcisms outside the guidelines of the church, and his actions are related to a series of deaths that occur with religious overtones. Additionally, James Remar (Sex In The City) and Walter Goggins (The Wire) will guest star.
What’s key is that Paget’s character, Prentiss, has a personal reason for wanting to investigate this case. As a result, we’ll learn a lot more about Prentiss’ past, as daughter of an Ambassador (previously portrayed by Kate Jackson).
On Hooking Up With Hotch
Brewster says that she never realized so many fans wanted their characters, Prentiss and Hotchner, (Thomas Gibson) to “hook up”, and now they playfully “flutter” their eyelids at each other on the set.
On Having Moonlight Star Alex O’Loughlin On Set
She says they just finished filming an episode with O’Loughlin. and many departments were “vying for his attention”.
The best news of all is that Criminal Minds is giving us a whopping 26 episodes this season, and with most shows doing 22, they are obviously working hard for the fans. Finally, no word on what the finale will be, but judging from last year’s explosion, we expect it to be pretty hot. You can read the full interview over at TV Guide.

That’s hilarious about the eye fluttering. I’m a long-time Hotch/Prentiss hopeful so it’s especially amusing to me. I love their sense of humor.
The episode was alright but I was finally looking forward to watching a storyline based on Emily, but I was disappointed, though Paget Brewster did do a good job with the acting, one of the reasons I consider her to be my favorite character, was because the acting, people say she’s too serious, that’s how her character suppose to be,I’ve seen her in other roles its way different, that’s what actings about, playing someone else,no offence but the other cast members, I’ve seen them in other roles,it not really other roles because their acting is the same, probably not Kirsten(Garcia) I haven’t really seen her in other roles ,I don’t expect AJ Cook to go any further because she perfers to do certain roles that don’t go against her belief so that’s not really acting if your going to continue the same roles,I understand you sometimes don’t feel comfortable with certain roles but acting is about trying different things, she’s always playing innocent good girl roles,AJ’s character got married with someone the viewers hardly even knew and I couldn’t stand and had a baby, the regular old settling down thing for the good girl, the writers rushed things, they need to change primetime shows, yes its good to have alittle romance but its not romance if you introduce somebody for 4 eps and than end with pregnancy and marriage, and the romance thing, why is it always boy/girl romance, its always the same boy/girl marries have babies happily ever after, its getting too old,why when they do add a lesbian/gay story it has to do with them as victims, never within a cast member do they have them as lesbian or gay,I actually hope they put Emily Prentiss as a lesbian because she’s so secretive and I hope the Emily the team knows isn’t really how she’s is,some want Emily with Hotch,I can’t really see that, and if they do put them together that’s what they expect, two people with tough lives get together,I guess that’s why shows like Law and Order I perfer because the characters professional life is the life we viewers see,not the whole boy/girl drama
