Fringe’s Joshua Jackson Injured In Torture Scene

Fringe star Joshua Jackson says he was recently injured while filming a scene for the Fox TV show.

Word is he had a wire put inside his nose, and it caused some pain and bleeding despite the precautions taken. I love it when actors go the extra mile for the fans, but I was very concerned to hear this. If you watch Fringe, you’ve seen some pretty strange experiments (horrible things). So when I heard this, my first reaction was,  “Oh say it aint so…”.

Jackson says the event was more comical than anything, and he now has a doctor’s excuse that says he’s not allowed to stick anything up his nose. For something that’s not a big deal, his description of the event sounds pretty excruciating: “It felt like someone taking a steel wheel to the back of your eyeball.”

In any case, Jackson was filming a torture scene for the TV show, however, we won’t get to see the bloodletting, at least not in this scene. In the image above, Jackson’s character, Peter Bishop is serving as a “viewer” to a dead man’s memories in the Fringe episode called, In Which We Meet Mr. Jones, which aired last November.
