"Fringe": Leonard Nimoy Guest Stars on Season Finale

Director, author, Emmy nominee and sci-fi legend Leonard Nimoy will guest Leonard Nimoy to star in "Fringe" for Season Finale episodestar on the May 12 season finale episode of Fringe. Talk about going out with a bang! Nimoy portrays William Bell, the scientist and former lab partner to Walter Bishop, and (filthy rich) integral part of the quietly ominous corporation, Massive Dynamic.

Notably, Nimoy will also be reprising his role as Mr. Spock in the new J.J. Abrams directed Star Trek feature film. Abrams is also the co-creator of Fringe. Click the link to see the feature trailer.

Even if I didn’t love Fringe, seeing Leonard Nimoy on the show is a huge treat in itself. Having Nimoy has definitely raised the cool factor for Fringe, and I’m certain many fans will be checking out the finale. Word is that Nimoy will appear on this season finale, and later return for another episode in the Fall.

Fringe airs on Tuesdays at 9:00 PM on Fox, and Star Trek (2009) is slated to premiere worldwide on May 8 (in 28 days).
