Without A Trace, Criminal Minds, and Numb3rs, move over! CBS has just made way for two new crime dramas. One is an FBI drama created by Criminal Minds’ creator Ed Bernero, and the other? It’s a spin-off of the crime procedural, NCIS. Read more about the CBS crime drama newbies.

Mel Gibson is stepping back into the role of actor. He will star in a crime drama thriller called Edge of Darkness.

Pride and Glory star Colin Farrell is tapped to portray an ex-con who tries to shed his gangster ways, and go straight by taking a job as handyman for a reclusive actress (Keira Knightley) in The Departed’s writer’s crime drama, London Boulevard. Without A Trace star Anthony LaPaglia is getting his turn on James Lipton’s couch, as he will appear on Bravo’s Inside The Actor’s Studio on Monday, February, 7:00 PM/6C on Bravo. Here’s a video sneak peek of the interview, and I apologize up front for the ad, but this part of the interview may turn out to be one of the best parts of the show. Numb3rs star Rob Morrow is serving as executive producer for a new series, called Barely Legal, and singer/actress Hillary Duff has been tapped as a young lawyer on this legal sitcom. The show centers around Duff’s character, and is based on the real story of an 18 year-old woman, Kathleen Holtz, who recently passed the California Bar, becoming the youngest lawyer in the state. Duff has gone from actress to singer, to business mogul and now will have her own show, portraying this super smart young lawyer.

There’s big talk about the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards show which airs tonight (at 8:00-11:00 PM) on NBC. Most of the talk is about the amazing movies that have been nominated.
