If you live in Michigan, you not only have the distinction of having Spike TV’s DEA filmed there. You also have a new mafia crime drama called The Fifth Mafia tapped to begin production in May, according to Detroit Free Press. Prime filming locations are West Michigan, in and around Grand Rapids.

Here’s an amazing video from the series, DEA, which airs tomorrow on April 2. It features some footage from a Detroit, Michigan raid by the DEA agents.
Seeing it is a bit scary, because you don’t want to believe that all the firepower portrayed in it, is actually necessary. It’s an ugly fact that the illegal drug trade is a far reaching thing. We’re left fighting a war here at home.
