On Friday April 24, CBS’ Flashpoint and Numb3rs took the lead!

Friday night’s episodes of Flashpoint and Numb3rs helped bring CBS to the ratings winner’s circle. Flashpoint’s new episode attracted 8.2 million viewers which left ABC’s Supernanny in the dust.
Flashpoint’s episode, called Remote Control, featured a bank worker whose wife is kidnapped, and he learns his own brother may be responsible. In this short clip above, you see the bank worker as he is apparently speaking to his wife one last time. Talk about tense..she’s also pregnant with their child.

The latest scoop on Joshua Jackson’s role as Peter Bishop on Fox’s Fringe is there is a major reveal coming per TV Guide about his character. They won’t say of course, but it’s huge.

For now, we’ll continue to get more on Olivia (Anna Torv) and her mysterious background.
I’m pretty excited about this “Peter Bishop” development. It’s unclear how much contact Peter had with his father Walter Bishop (John Noble) so many years ago before Dad went off to the loony bin.

In tonight’s new episode of 24, (Day 7 10:00 PM -11:00PM), Jack and Tony search for a bioweapon at a shipyard. The President must make changes in her administration to accommodate her daughter’s ambitions. All the while, the FBI has notched up its search for Jack, who is still wanted for the death of Senator Mayer.

This episode features the case of two teens who vanish while at the movie theater. The BAU finds that one of the girls is murdered (Katie Owens) and her body dumped 9 miles away, so they race to find the other (Lindsey) before she is killed. The murdered girl’s body is mutilated. The team is unable to determine her identity without a round of DNA testing, which would take time.

Veterans hospital worker, Laura Richards works in the basement, painting and sculpturing prosthetics for recent vet amputees. She missed work two mornings in a row, and was then reported missing.
Agents Malone and Delgado note that working in the basement is not the safest place for a woman alone. The New York Missing Person’s Squad begin their investigation. Her boss notes that she was doing exceptional work at the hospital. PFC Higgins is mentioned because he was indirectly upset with Laura on the day she disappeared.

A hard-nosed television news reporter, Bonnie Parker, goes missing, and the team has to find her. While the team is doing the initial investigation, Charlie Eppes is interviewed by another news reporter on scene who is hungry for details. Episode Name: “Chinese Box”Episode Number: 4.10Air Date: December 14, 2007The tension was pretty high for this FBI dramas episode. David Sinclair becomes a hostage, trapped inside an elevator with an FBI subcontractor who thinks he’s been under surveillance.
Don Epps criticizes Megan for letting David use himself as a hostage, and Megan reminds him that he wasn’t there, and David made the judgment call to save a woman’s life by taking her place. I’m not sure why, but it’s entertaining anytime those two go at it, even slightly.

Episode Name: "Birthright"Episode Number: 3.11Air Date: December 12, 2007
So this story begins with some young people partying outdoors at night. J.J. fields all of BAU’s incoming cases and she is uniquely affected by this one. Fredricksburg, VA is the setting for these disappearances and killings of young women.
The killings are very similar to ones that took place 20 years ago. The character John Caufield is the sheriff from the original case. The murders from 20 years ago broke him.

Episode Name: “True Night” Episode Number: 3.10 Air Date: November 28, 2007
After watching the True Night episode of Criminal Minds this week, my strongest feelings were frustration and sadness. For most of the episode, Frankie Muniz’s character (Johnny McHale) seemed to be in a waking hallucination. I could tell that something horrible happened, but it was just frustrating to watch his scenes. He did an awesome job though.
