So what are the favorite filming spots for these two actors, and what makes it so special ?

Eric Close names the city bridges, and notes that the timing is also a part of the appeal. He reveals he loves the bridges at night. Times Square and Central Park are also favorites, as he says, …”But when you come to New York, you want to see the buildings and architecture.”

Close notes just how cool New Yorkers are when it comes to filming. He says, “In Los Angeles, people expect to see actors, so they’re more mellow about it. Here, people have a good passion about things and tell you how they feel, which I like.” Montgomery notes that there is an energy she gets from New Yorkers, and says it unlike anything she’s felt in Los Angeles. Sounds like the Big Chill has definitely made an impression on these two.

Via NYDailyNews

Post from: FBI Dramas

FBI Drama News: Numb3rs, Eric Close & Fall TV Popularity?

Aya Sumika

David Krumholtz

Eric Close

New crime series

Numb3rs

Show News

Sophina Brown

Without A Trace

eleventh hour

Fringe

sophina brown

vanessa britting

Numb3rs Stars Making News In some of the most exciting FBI Dramas news, Numb3rs star David Krumholtz is engaged to actor Vanessa Britting. According to his rep, they were engaged last month in Paris during a short vacation, and are set to wed in February 2009. It’s been noted that these two have been dating for 3 1/2 years.

Speaking of Numb3rs, it’s official, Aya Sumika is back…as a regular on Numb3rs. Sumika has portrayed the recurring character, Special Agent Liz Warner, and love interest to Don Eppes (Rob Morrow). It should be interesting to have her along with the firebrand that is Sophina Brown’s new character.

Eric Close Talks Technology

Without A Trace star Eric Close recently co-led an educational training session at a national computing conference on how technology can excite children about education. He and author/educator Peter Reynolds led this interactive investigation to feature Thinkfinity.org, which is an online portal for teachers, students and parents, full of educational resources. Nice to know that Close is so much a part of education, and it’s no wonder since he has two little girls to help educate himself.

The Fall TV Popularity Contest

Been wondering what fall shows will be the highest-rated this time around? New series, Fox’s Fringe and CBS’s Eleventh Hour are the ticket, according to Horizon Media, a company that publishes estimates of how well broadcast shows will perform. Although I haven’t seen this annual report, I wonder what they base their findings on – series concept, or marketing dollars? Check out Horizon Media’s other predictions over at Hollywood Reporter.

Post from: FBI Dramas

Actor Spotlight: "Without A Trace’s" Enrique Murciano

Enrique Murciano

Eric Close

FBI Drama Programs

FBI Drama Stars

Video Clips

Without A Trace

cuba

kathie lee

megan mullally show

nestor carbonell

special agent danny taylor

spike tv

the insider

the lost city

Whether you first loved him in Traffic or Black Hawk Down, Enrique Murciano has certainly made an impression. He also has two adorable dogs. He reveals his favorite TV show as a kid, his high school antics, talks about his father, and his knack for wanting to save people when he was younger. He tells a story that ends with him and Megan on the couch, and a kiss.

Murciano hails from Florida, is of Cuban descent, and has a love of cars according to his IMDB profile. He and Nestor Carbonell did a video interview with Spike TV about their roles in the film they did together, called The Lost City (2005). The film tells the story of three brothers during the Cuban 1958-59 Revolution. Murciano is very passionate about the film, and about the plight of human rights violations in Cuba.

Here’s a fun 2006 video of Enrique with Without A Trace co-star Eric Close as they are being interviewed/featured by Kathie Lee on The Insider. I love this video because it shows the guy’s lighter sides. As we anticipate the next season of Without A Trace, I would love to see some of this same energy in the form of more storylines featuring Murciano’s character.

Image via Newscom, Via IMDB

Post from: FBI Dramas

"Without a Trace Star" Eric Close Solves Real Crime – Kids Without Books

Eric Close

FBI Drama Stars

Without A Trace

Blue-eyed actor Eric Close (who portrays Agent Martin Fitzgerald) of Without a Trace recently took time out to read to some fifth and sixth grade students at a school in N.J. to support the Verizon Foundation’s Season’s Readings campaign.
