Without A Trace’s character FBI agent Samantha Spade (Poppy Montgomery) has made the list of TV Guide’s Top 12 Female Cops of All Time.
It’s noted that as No. 4 on the list, she is one of the top 12 because she usually solves cases for the New York Missing Person’s Bureau (“connects the dots”) even though she’s underestimated because of her looks.

Without A Trace now airs on Tuesday nights due to the upcoming CBS Fall series, Eleventh Hour taking its “Thursday at 10:00 PM” slot according to TV Guide.
Last we saw, in the finale episode, 6.18, Satellites, Agent Malone (Anthony LaPaglia) was told to step down as head of his team, resulting from the investigation into his recent actions.
He’s been busted back to working the streets! I’m not sure what this means for an FBI agent, but I suspect it will be mundane for his character.

In A Bend In The Road, a young girl who has a heart transplant goes missing, and strangely, she is interested in the boy whose heart saved her life. Things are looking very serious for Agent Jack Malone. The human trafficking case results have been put on hold of sorts until Jack gets better.

Poppy Montgomery portrays Samantha Spade, one of our favorite female FBI  agents on Without A Trace, and she’s been talking about her latest and most important role, motherhood.
Being a first-time mother, she has the best advice for new moms, which is to “let go and allow what will happen to happen”. Without A Trace’s Poppy Montgomery and boyfriend Adam Kaufman welcomed a new baby boy into the world on December 23. Baby Jackson Phillip Kaufman weighed in at 7 lbs. and 4 oz. No word yet on if this affects Poppy’s role as Samantha Spade on Without A Trace. Maybe this WGA strike will give her plenty of time to bond with little Jackson.
