On Friday April 24, CBS’ Flashpoint and Numb3rs took the lead!

Friday night’s episodes of Flashpoint and Numb3rs helped bring CBS to the ratings winner’s circle. Flashpoint’s new episode attracted 8.2 million viewers which left ABC’s Supernanny in the dust.
Flashpoint’s episode, called Remote Control, featured a bank worker whose wife is kidnapped, and he learns his own brother may be responsible. In this short clip above, you see the bank worker as he is apparently speaking to his wife one last time. Talk about tense..she’s also pregnant with their child.

Numb3rs’ Trouble In Chinatown features the case of a missing FBI undercover agent, and a feud between rival Chinese gangs who deal in the black market. Psychic Samuel Kraft (John Glover) has returned and is working to help solve the case as well. Check out the short preview of the episode and review below:

The unspoken rivalry between Kraft and Don was a nice backdrop for the rest of the plot.

Numb3rs star Rob Morrow is serving as executive producer for a new series, called Barely Legal, and singer/actress Hillary Duff has been tapped as a young lawyer on this legal sitcom. The show centers around Duff’s character, and is based on the real story of an 18 year-old woman, Kathleen Holtz, who recently passed the California Bar, becoming the youngest lawyer in the state. Duff has gone from actress to singer, to business mogul and now will have her own show, portraying this super smart young lawyer.

Numb3rs star Alimi Ballard is a family man extraordinaire.

He recently did an interview with Hitched Magazine, and talked about his most important work. No it’s not his role as Agent David Sinclair on CBS’s hit FBI drama Numb3rs, but being husband to his wife Dawn, and dad to his son and daughter, Naya Seray, and Cairo Che. Having a 3 1/2 year old and a 1 year-old requires strategy and planning.
Besides his role as Agent David Sinclair on the series, Ballard has also starred in Dark Angel, CSI, and NYPD Blue.

Fringe star Anna Torv will be a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, November 24. Be sure to catch Fringe on Tuesdays at 9:00 PM on Fox.
Anna’s hunky co-star Joshua Jackson made the list of People’s Sexiest Men Alive (No. 14 on the list). Others on the list include Hugh Jackman, Daniel Craig, Robert Pattinson and David Beckham. If you’re a fan of Apple’s Mac commercials, check out these two Numb3rs promos which feature David Krumholtz and Rob Morrow in their roles as brothers Charlie and Don Eppes.

 
Seeing these kind of makes me wonder what percentage of Numb3rs fans are Mac users versus PC users. Whatever the case, the series must have quite a following of fans who use both.

The latest new tidbits over at TV Guide include spoilers on Numb3rs.
It seems that FBI agents Liz Warner (Aya Sumika) and Nikki Betancourt (Sophina Brown) were paired together in a recent episode of Numb3rs called Scan Man, and they worked well together. The episode aired on October 31.
According to the show’s executive producer, they will be a team again, but at some point, Agent Warner has a new opportunity that will come her way.

In Jack of All Trades, Don and the team help a veteran agent (Henry Winkler) find an elusive con man (Chuck Hittinger) who has eluded him for years.
