Fringe executive producer and showrunner Jeff Pinkner was recently interviewed by LA Times, and he confesses some secrets about Fringe. One of the best parts of the interview is when he reveals there are “easter eggs” contained in the show.
He says there is nothing accidental on the series. He also says that in every episode, there is a clue to the next episode’s plot. From his example, it sounds like something fun for obsessed fans, but knowing it makes the series so much more fun to watch. Watch for the signs!

Midseason programming changes are coming, and here’s a look at the possible line-ups for our favorite FBI and general crime drama series. The networks have not released their official line-ups yet, but it’s so much fun to speculate.
Of course we expect that on CBS, Without A Trace, Criminal Minds and Numb3rs will continue its success on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights respectively. Notably, Criminal Minds and Numb3rs have both had some amazing guest stars, and we look forward to more of the same.

In a recent article, it was noted that many of our favorite prime time TV stars are non-American. Looking over the list, many of them are some of our favorite FBI drama stars.
As noted this is nothing new, except what was once just a few foreign actors has now become a boatload. The reason behind the shift is economics, but as viewers, we just simply enjoy our stars.

Tonight is a big night of new season opening crime dramas. First at 9:00 PM on CBS, The Mentalist debuts. the show follows a former fake psychic (Simon Baker) who now uses his gift of observing details to assist a California crime unit.
In this pilot episode, the murders of a pro golfer’s wife and her doctor are investigated. The show seems to focus on finding the truth in human nature.

The latest new season buzz on Without A Trace comes via a fan’s question to Mickey O’Connor of TV Guide:
I read that Steven Weber is joining Without a Trace. Does that mean Anthony LaPaglia is gone? — JaniceMickey: Weber has only signed on for four episodes, so he’s definitely not replacing LaPaglia. Rather, their characters will be adversaries. Once he’s done ruining Jack’s life, look for Weber to resurface on Brothers & Sisters, where he spent time last season ruining Sarah’s life. Without A Trace’s Poppy Montgomery and Eric Close both have a healthy appreciation for the beauty of New York. They’ve made some comments recently about how much they enjoy filming the show on location in New York.
Because the story setting of Trace’s Missing Persons Bureau is in New York, the production company has to pick up and move a couple of times a year to the Big Apple.
