Mel Gibson is stepping back into the role of actor. He will star in a crime drama thriller called Edge of Darkness.

Pride and Glory star Colin Farrell is tapped to portray an ex-con who tries to shed his gangster ways, and go straight by taking a job as handyman for a reclusive actress (Keira Knightley) in The Departed’s writer’s crime drama, London Boulevard. There’s big talk about the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards show which airs tonight (at 8:00-11:00 PM) on NBC. Most of the talk is about the amazing movies that have been nominated. In this launch video, Robert Downey Jr. talks about an amazing quality that he and his character share (being a weirdo). Guy Ritchie is tapped to direct the film Sherlock Holmes, for Warner Bros., and Jude Law is in talks to portray the dashing detective’s hardy partner, Dr. John Watson. Robert Downey Jr. is confirmed to star in this film as Detective Sherlock Holmes.

Criminal Minds’ Matthew Gray Gubler’s role as a serial-killer wanna-be looks hilarious. Check out the latest trailer from the film, called How To Be a Serial Killer, which stars Dameon Clarke, Gubler and Ryan Smith at the link.
Although the trailer, and the movie premise is a bit disturbing, writer/director Luke Ricci has managed to make this look totally entertaining.

Matthew Gray Gubler’s new role as a serial killer in director Luke Ricci’s film has some of us wondering. An actor who portrays Dr. Spencer Reid, one of the country’s top criminal profilers on CBS’s Criminal Minds, has now turned completely to the dark side as his new character, an apprentice to a top notch serial killer, in the movie, How To Be a Serial Killer.
In the film, Gubler’s character, Bart, is trained by Mike (Dameon Clarke) “a charismatic young man” who has chosen a path of destruction by becoming a serial killer.

FBI Drama star Anthony LaPaglia is looking for a place to stay. If he needed shelter, would you let him sleep on your sofa?  Residents of Darwin in Australia have been asked this very question. OK, I’m kidding…not sofas, but rental space.  Why you may ask? LaPaglia along with the cast and crew of the Balibo Five movie will begin production on June 30.
