It tells the story of the Alabama high school teenager Natalee Holloway (Amy Gumenick) who went missing in Aruba in 2005. It also details the desperate search by her mom, Beth Twitty (Tracy Pollan). Grant Show stars in this movie as well.

The movie is based on the book written by Beth Twitty, called “Loving Natalee: A Mother’s Testament of Hope And Faith”.

In tonight’s new episode of 24 (Day 7: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM), Jack must prevent a high-impact terror threat in the U.S. Meanwhile, General Juma (Tony Todd) takes over Dubaku’s attacks on America. Last week, Jack was attempting to secretly infiltrate the White House to interrogate a chief of staff (Eyal Podell).

I don’t know about you, but I find the episodes of 24 quite fascinating, simply because the things that happen are amazing. It kind of makes you wonder if the real White House security team ever takes a look at episodes of 24 to take notes.  By 20 minutes into the show, the White House is under siege and General Juma has his first hostage. 24 airs on Monday nights on Fox at 9:00 PM. Kiefer Sutherland (Jack Bauer) and cast members Robert Carlyle (Carl Benton), Jon Voight(Jonas Hodges), Cherry Jones (Allison Taylor), Tony Todd (Colonel Juma), Hakeem Kae-Kazim (Colonel Dubaku) and Gil Bellows (Frank Trammel) attended. Series director Jon Cassar and executive producer Howard Gordon were at the screening, and they are all obviously psyched about the new season, and more importantly, what Redemption means to the series.

This is a fine jump into Season 7, and from seeing the trailer, its full of action and some tough decision making on the part of our favorite CTU character, Jack Bauer. This time, Jack goes up against a ruthless dictator (portrayed by Tony Todd,pictured above) who uses innocent children as a part of his army.

This is not your run-of-the-mill 24 episode (if there is such a thing) as we find out something about his past, and what it does to affect the future.

The new season of 24 approaches, kicked off by a 2 hour television premiere on Fox. This time, Jack Bauer is taking a break from being in Los Angeles, and running with the FBI! Filmed in Cape Town, South Africa and Los Angeles, this episode stars Emmy Award winner Kiefer Sutherland, Cherry Jones, Robert Carlyle, Gil Bellows and Academy Award winner Jon Voight.

This amazing episode bridges the gap between Season 6 and Season 7 which begins on January 11.  With his freedom in jeopardy, Jack Bauer is now wanted by the government after sacrificing everything for his country. He’s working as a missionary in South Africa, and is asked to help stop the drafting of children into a brutal militia, and face a vicious warlord.

There are also hints of the new season, which brings us a female president in office, and someone back from the dead! Fox’s press release calls this special 2 hour event an epic tale, and 24 fans will no doubt be enthralled by it, and the new season.

NBC’s Meredith Vieira interviews FBI director Robert Mueller at the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, Virginia, specifically in Hogan’s Alley, a special training ground area for the agents. You can see the full interview in a TV Guide/Hulu video interview.

According to Mueller, what makes a good FBI agent is someone who has experience, judgement and the capability to handle the power (gun and badge) given to them. One compelling  aspect of the agency is how much things have changed since September 11.

Mueller was sworn in as Director, and a week later, America was attacked via 9/11. It was noted that this attack changed everything for the FBI, as the burden to prevent another attack has fallen squarely on their shoulders.

In the interview, he notes some of the FBI’s low and high points. Besides unnamed thwarted attacks, the UnaBomber, World Trade Center bombings, East Africa bombings, and the Cole bombings are the high points he named. Vieira noted Waco, and Ruby Ridge as the low points for the agency.

Design of the FBI Shield

There are 46 leafs on the shield of the FBI which represent the 46 states in the union at the time the agency was created. The blue background symbolizes justice, the red is for courage, and the beveled edge is for the challenges facing the FBI.

A First Responder’s Story

Martin was a first responder along with SWAT Team officers last December to a scene which was a dangerous standoff. He was shot by a woman who was barricaded inside her home, as he approached to throw a cell phone though the window to help establish communications between her and law enforcement.

He was shot in the neck, and left paralyzed, without the use of his legs.  Since then, he’s been on a regimen of intense physical therapy, and hopes to regain use of his legs again.

Deputy Lawing’s Background and Big Win

Deputy Lawing also served for five years in the U.S. Army’s elite 3^rd Ranger Battalion, and was chosen out of more than 1000 First Responders who were nominated by the public via online voting at AWM.com and Sprint text messages.

It must have been an amazing treat for Lawing to get a call while at the rehab center from AMW’s host John Walsh to find out that e was chosen as grand prize winner. Martin’s prize is a check for $10,000.00 from Sprint, and to be a guest at NASCAR SPRINT Cup Series™ All-Star Race in Charlotte, NC, on May 17.

Very soon I’ll have the interview posted, and you’ll be able to see how this man thinks, and what he has to say about crime fighting. Of all he said, today I thought it was important to pass on his comment, that AMW could never be the success it is without the fans who call in, or send tips to the show.

In this way, we are all fighting crime together. Although there is still a lot of work to do, things are getting better as far as legislation and the recognition of what we face.

I wondered If you had a chance to see the special broadcast of America’s Most Wanted: America Fights Back on Saturday, with Gov. Arnold Schwarznegger, and what you thought of it. I watched the show for years, and in that time, my respect for John Walsh has grown.

I could not imagine losing a child they way he and his wife did, nor the incredible pain they felt.  This is why viewers believe that he’s sincere in his efforts to help catch criminals.

Many may remember being intrigued by his show and persona, because it’s compelling to see to see someone move on after a tragedy of that sort. In a recent interview, John said that the show is “more than a job”, and that it’s “a passion”. Here are some interesting facts about the series:

• The show premiered on February 7, 1988
• Fox canceled the show for a month and a half in 1996 & replaced it with some sitcoms. The public, law enforcement and government officials protested. Between the protests and low ratings for the sitcoms, the show was brought back.
• America’s Most Wanted and Cops air back-to-back on Saturday nights on Fox
• The show is in its 21st season!

This all happens on America’s Most Wanted: America Fights Back, which airs Saturday April 26 on Fox at 9:00 PM. Check out the spoiler photos of John Walsh with Governor Schwarzenegger after the jump!

Here John Walsh is speaking for a voter initiative about California’s legislation. The California governor is no stranger to deterring crime, as his mandate called Prop 69 is a piece of legislation which allows law enforcement officers to take DNA samples from felony suspects, not just convicted criminals.

Walsh will be meeting the governor at a laboratory in Sacramento which conducts DNA testing, and they’ll discuss the benefits gained from having a national DNA database. The scene above features Walsh and the governor at the lab. There’ll be some other surprises in this episode as well.

It’s hoped that all the states will join California and the other small number of states which follow this policy with like legislation. What challenges do you see if any, of having this resource?

Led by host John Walsh, they will profile a fugitive from each state, thereby launching a national manhunt. The hunt begins on Saturday, April 19 at 9:00 PM ET on Fox.

How this will work is the seamless coordination of a team effort between John Walsh, correspondents around the country, and U.S. Marshals via their large fugitive task force. As a tip comes in, a task force will move into action immediately to catch the fugitive. There will also be an interactive U.S. map profiling each state’s fugitive. Thoughts & Show Background

For a series that airs weekly for only an hour, it’s made some of the best difference for law enforcement officials who have struggled to solve crime cases. Some of the best and funniest comments about this show have been from criminals who were caught via show efforts, and noted they watched the show every week themselves, just to see if they were being featured.

America’s Most Wanted features criminals via re-creations of crimes, and takes tips from viewers who call into the show. It’s amazing that since the show began in 1988, it’s helped put nearly 1,000 dangerous criminals behind bars.

For some reason, being able to see this all play out on TV reminds me of the chase scene from the book, Fahrenheit 451. However, I by no means feel any remorse for the hunt & capture of these fugitives, as many are wanted for rape, murder, child molestation, robbery, etc.
