On what’s so special about Numb3rs 100th episode…

On who’s funniest on the set…

He says that Peter MacNichol is by far the funniest guy there. Of course we know MacNichol is quite funny after all those seasons of him as attorney John Cage in Ally McBeal.

On having Henry Winkler back as Agent Bloom…

He reveals that Agent Bloom comes back as a hero.

On any tease for the May 15 finale episode of Numb3rs…

Ballard says that something is “left hanging in the balance”, and they hope the fans will love it.

Friday night’s episodes of Flashpoint and Numb3rs helped bring CBS to the ratings winner’s circle. Flashpoint’s new episode attracted 8.2 million viewers which left ABC’s Supernanny in the dust.

Flashpoint’s episode, called Remote Control, featured a bank worker whose wife is kidnapped, and he learns his own brother may be responsible. In this short clip above, you see the bank worker as he is apparently speaking to his wife one last time. Talk about tense..she’s also pregnant with their child.

The new episode of Numb3rs, which put agent Don Eppes (Rob Morrow) in the hospital, and the show in the top slot for the 10:00 PM hour, attracted 8.8 million viewers.

In this episode called The Fifth Man, the team is under a lot of of pressure to catch the bad guys. One highlight is that Granger (Dylan Bruno) and Sinclair (Alimi Ballard) get into an intense discussion after Sinclair stops Granger from going a little too far with a suspect in the interrogation room. He recently did an interview with Hitched Magazine, and talked about his most important work. No it’s not his role as Agent David Sinclair on CBS’s hit FBI drama Numb3rs, but being husband to his wife Dawn, and dad to his son and daughter, Naya Seray, and Cairo Che. Having a 3 1/2 year old and a 1 year-old requires strategy and planning.

Besides his role as Agent David Sinclair on the series, Ballard has also starred in Dark Angel, CSI, and NYPD Blue.

Ballard also says that having time with his wife alone is another top priority, as he says “We have a babysitter, and no matter what we go out once a week…”. He makes sure that family time is completely separate from work as well, by managing things via time management techniques.

Ballard just celebrated a birthday on October 17, and although he and the family live in LA, they still like to get back to his original home, New York City. It’s nice to see that one of our favorite Numb3rs stars has such a great time being a family man!
