Alan made the remark to his son Charlie that he has to marry her now.

Some seasons back, it was known that Amita was afraid for Charlie to met her father, as he always expected her to marry a man of Indian descent. Amita’s work, and Charlie’s work have both been reasons (at one time or another) why their relationship stalled at points. Also, she was put off by his apparent lack of knowledge when it came to her feelings for him in the beginning. Charlie decided at some point to just kiss her if I recall, and that was the spark.

Later, Amita finally became comfortable with Charlie by seeing him in a new light, not just as a professor or Charlie, but someone who fit both of these roles. It also didn’t hurt that she’s always admired his beautiful math equations.

Both Amita and Charlie have come a long way over the seasons. Even now, Charlie is still growing. He made the remark that since he’s had his FBI training, he’s qualified to ride. Charlie has exhibited some feelings of insecurity in their relationship (mostly in regards to her parents lately). Now that he’s “in with the parents”, what will he do? Do you want to see them get married?

Post from: FBI Dramas

Numb3rs "Pay To Play" Review

Episode Resources

FBI Drama Programs

Numb3rs

Reviews

Thoughts

2by4

amita

charlie eppes

colby granger

don eppes

numb3rs review

pay to play

three 6 mafia

Numb3rs ReviewEpisode: Pay To PlayAir Date: May 9, 2008 <spoiler alert> In the Numb3rs episode, Pay To Play, the featured guests stars are Juicy J and DJ Paul from the Academy Award winning rap group Three 6 Mafia. Don and the FBI team investigate the murder of a rap star.

It turns out that someone may be embezzling money, and the key to the case is an extra iPod which had an equation on it. Also, Amita’s parents come to town to meet Charlie and his dad.

Amita’s mom and dad, Tapti and Sanjay, seemed to be making Charlie uncomfortable at dinner. Why did they bring Kapil with them, and invite him to have dessert? I guess he’s their pick for Amita?

Hunter’s wife seemed to be hiding something all along, or that’s what I thought, until after she got into her vehicle and it exploded. I love Charlie’s explanation of using a burned out panel on the Jumbotron as a example of the grid he was reading. Megan has taken some time off, and is back in New York.

2BY4 was hilarious when he whispered to Colby to please protect him, and then yells back to his homies that “they can’t hold me”.

Amita figures out that later on that her parents were trying to set her up with Kapil, who according to her is gay.

Overall, it was a great episode. I didn’t really miss having pouty Megan around in this one, so her being MIA was OK. However, it was sweet that Don was so concerned about her absence. Whatever is going on, from seeing the scenes from next week, it’s building up to something big…

Post from: FBI Dramas
