FBI Drama and Bones star David Boreanaz is gracing the cover of Draft Magazine for the November/December 2008 issue. He gives a great interview in which he talks about being a Pittsburgh Steelers ball boy, a love for hockey, and of course, being a beer enthusiast.

When asked about directing, he says that he loves it, noting, “I just enjoy being both in front of and behind the camera, producing, directing.” He had the opportunity to direct an episode of Bones, and it was obviously a treat. Boreanaz also co-produced at least 18 episodes of the series. Here he’s pictured with actor Emily Deschanel.

Now that he’s a dad, Boreanaz indicates he has a perspective on what the driving age should be, and he says, “Being a parent now, I tend to lean more towards the 21 age.”

On Bones, Boreanaz portrays the cocky Special Agent Seeley Booth, partner to the cynical anthropologist, Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel). To read more of David’s quotes, you can get snippets here at ImNotObsessed, or the full interview on the newsstands.

Criminal Minds: Wil Wheaton, actor, blogger, author and now Criminal Mind’s guest star, talked at the con about the history of his blogging, his writing adventures…and his latest guest role on an upcoming episode in this next season of Criminal Minds.

In the video interview, he talks also about his sons, and it’s awesome to hear about him being such a cool dad.

Wheaton’s debut on CR is at the beginning of the new season. Since he’s been sworn to secrecy about his activities there, you can read some of his personal stuff about the whole experience at his blog, WWdN: In Exile, and then in October, when he releases more info at his blog on TV Squad, we’ll have all the juicy details about the “behind-the scenes” trip in this special episode.

Fringe: Kristin at E!Online reveals some goodness about Fringe star Joshua Jackson’s backside, and a little about the series, and her chats with him and Joss Whedon.

THR’s Con wrap story suggest reception for FBI drama Fringe was slightly off-center, even though Fox reps were busy passing out awesome swag items. It was also noted that a group of cows were lined up in a parking lot near the convention center, no doubt as a take from the first episode scene, and this also garnered some strange review. Really?

24: Word is that Fox’s 24 was huge, and Kiefer Sutherland finally answered the most pressing and important question about the show: When does Jack Bauer go to the restroom?

Bones: Searching Bones is reporting that stars Michaela Conlin and John Francis Daly (Dr. Sweets) were both at the con, talking about their roles on the show and future plans. Looks like someone is headed for romance next season!

I was able to sit in on a press interview last Friday with the creator of Bones, Hart Hanson. Check out the awesome interview one of our fellow b5 brethren has posted at Searching Bones, which is a site completely dedicated to this amazing FBI series! By the way, he mentioned that he and the cast members do visit that site from time to time, so we’re totally so proud of Lynn!  She also has an amazing good-bye letter from one the Bones’ cast members…(tearing up here…).

Here is Fox’s Fringe presentation trailer. This looks like an amazing story of FBI agents confronting the unknown.

Being a major fan of many of the actors on Fringe already (John Noble, Joshua Jackson, Anna Torv, Kirk Acevedo, Lance Reddick…), I can’t help but be drawn in to this one.  So, judge for yourself and tell us if you plan to watch Fringe in the fall.

By the way, the Future On Fox Blog has the series posters up, and they look great. We’ll have to see what all the symbolism means on these later. Did any of you see the scary Fringe preview on Fox last night while House was on?

FBI Drama on TV this week

There are two more season finales this week, and hopefully they are so awesome, they’ll leave us with enough excitement to mull over until the Fall season starts again. I’m still excited about last week’s Numb3rs episode.

The disappearance of the silver skeleton from the lab suggests someone from their own team may be working as the serial killer’s apprentice. So, there seems to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing about!

Don tries to determine whether a serial killer is responsible for attacks on the freeway that have claimed four lives and injured several others. Since different weapons were used each time, the attacks may be random, so Charlie works to uncover a pattern to the crimes. Back on campus, Charlie becomes concerned about Larry’s living arrangements.
