Dr. Hood is more than a little obsessive about people misusing science for nefarious purposes.

It’s still too early to tell what genre the show falls into, especially with the science aspects. If some of the episodes have a “science gone wrong’ theme, it could easily fall into a sci-fi or horror sub-genre. Sounds exciting!

Hood’s character seems to have a bit of an eccentric air (don’t all brilliant scientists?), but his cool exterior seems to make up for it. After seeing the clip here, it almost reminded me of Charlie Eppes of Numb3rs explaining one of his math theories What do you think?

Written by Mick Davis, and directed by Danny Cannon, Eleventh Hour is based on a short British TV series by sci-fi scribe Stephen Gallagher. I guess he’s their pick for Amita?

Hunter’s wife seemed to be hiding something all along, or that’s what I thought, until after she got into her vehicle and it exploded. I love Charlie’s explanation of using a burned out panel on the Jumbotron as a example of the grid he was reading. Megan has taken some time off, and is back in New York.

2BY4 was hilarious when he whispered to Colby to please protect him, and then yells back to his homies that “they can’t hold me”.

Amita figures out that later on that her parents were trying to set her up with Kapil, who according to her is gay.

Overall, it was a great episode. I didn’t really miss having pouty Megan around in this one, so her being MIA was OK. However, it was sweet that Don was so concerned about her absence. Whatever is going on, from seeing the scenes from next week, it’s building up to something big…

Post from: FBI Dramas
