After seven seasons, the series Without A Trace has come to an end.

If you saw the episode last night, it seemed a bit like a final episode with all the role reprisals (Martin Landau and Adam Kaufman). The series has been described as a veteran modest performer, ratings wise, however, many fans still love the show. I’ve even seen a few online petitions for fans who want it back.

So what’s next for CBS and CTV’s police drama Flashpoint?

Amid all the amazing season finales last Friday, some of us probably needed two DVRs just to keep up. Flashpoint, the riveting police drama that’s full of tense scenarios with an emotional backdrop, had some modest ratings for its Season 2 finale, Exit Wounds (8.4 million…just behind Numb3rs’ 9.6 million).

So if you’re tired of the pretty crime drama stories (ones that are resolved in an hour), and want to see some real crime solving procedure, get ready for CBS’s Missing You. If you’ve been wondering where CBS’s summer hit crime drama, Flashpoint went, there’s no cause for alarm. Flashpoint was renewed by CBS in September, and they’ve ordered 13 new episodes scheduled to air in the summer of 2009. If you missed this amazing crime drama, check out the video promo here:

Numb3rs producer Robert Port along with Sheldon Turner and CBS are making San Francisco safe again with a revisit of the The Streets of San Francisco, the 1970’s TV crime drama.
Will this trifecta of talent pay off, and what are the chances of this being as popular as other series that are and have been making their way back to TV? Only time will tell. Per THR, the plan is to update the series so that it portrays the “same tension” between generations (Vietnam war vs. Iraq war) but to still have the same feel as the original show.

It seems CBS is dipping its proverbial toe into the crime drama meets weird science pool this fall with its new series, and Jerry Bruckheimer production, Eleventh Hour. Check out Rufus Sewell as Dr. Jacob hood in this clip.

Eleventh Hour follows the story of a government genius-level scientist, Dr. Jacob Hood (Rufus Sewell) recruited by the FBI to save others from fatal scientific experiments.
