Fox has announced its 2009-2010 midseason line-up and, and it includes 2 new unique crime related action dramas.

One series stars Fringe’s Mark Valley as an unusual private contractor who works to keep his clients alive.
The other series (Past Life) pairs an NYPD detective and a gifted psychologist (Kelli Giddish, seen here) who work to solve crimes that must be solved in the present and past(?). Are we talking time travel here, or past lives?

In the latest Fringe news, a bit more has been revealed about Leonard Nimoy’s role on the series. We already know he’s to portray the mysterious former scientist William Bell in the finale. We knew Nimoy is be in more than one episode.  At the April 23 Paley Festival panel interview, J.J. Abrams revealed Anna Torv is the only person that will share a scene with him on the May 12 finale, and it was reiterated that Nimoy will be back for future episodes. Yay! The countdown to the end of Fringe’s first season has already begun, and IGN is taking a good look at the mysterious corporation, Massive Dynamic. Word is he had a wire put inside his nose, and it caused some pain and bleeding despite the precautions taken. Fringe Fans: "Anticipate" Second Season Says Reilly

Fox’s weird science FBI drama, Fringe, is on the uptake, and has a good chance at a new season, according to Fox’s Entertainment president, Kevin Reilly in an article at Sci-Fi Wire. Read more here about why the series is coming back, and check out this short snippet of the theme song from the show, which was written by the show’s creator, J.J. Abrams.
