Roselyn Sanchez was recently sued by her ex-managers, Collective Management Group, and they claim she owes money in commission payments for her work on Without A Trace. Both she and the company have responded back and forth on the matter.

She says they were paid and are not entitled to the fees they claim. They say she owes commissions and fees for her role in the film, Yellow. Is Sanchez being treated unfairly, or is she trying to ignore her obligations?

Keifer Sutherland’s head-butting incident (he “head-butted” a fashion designer inside a Manhattan night club recently) has already been mulled over much in the news. He was basically arrested for what amounts to a speeding ticket. The latest is a plea from actress Brook Shields, who some say is the reason for the incident. She says the media has put an unfair spotlight on her because of this incident.

I suspect Sutherland and Shields are both reasonable people, and I have a general distrust and dislike for paparazzi because they do bad things. However, in the scheme of things, do you think Shields is secretly glad to have this attention? After all, the last big media story about her seems to be her tiff over comments made by Tom Cruise, and some blurbs about her alleged Cougar status.

In tonight’s new episode of 24, (Day 7 10:00 PM -11:00PM), Jack and Tony search for a bioweapon at a shipyard. The President must make changes in her administration to accommodate her daughter’s ambitions. All the while, the FBI has notched up its search for Jack, who is still wanted for the death of Senator Mayer.

Last week we saw Senator Mayer (pictured left here) being gunned down by an assassin, moments before he made a deal to help Jack with finding the weapon. We know Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) does his best work while being pursued, so this episode shows promise.

I liken Olivia Taylor (Sprague Grayden) to a bioweapon because she’s been causing trouble since she’s come on the scene. Last week she secretly leaked the story to the media about the Chief of Staff releasing Jack Bauer from federal custody.

Olivia’s only apparent agenda seems to be to protect her mother, but she’s doing things in a sneaky and conniving way.  I will admit, she’s definitely fun to watch.

Interestingly, before Grayden’s stint on 24 as First Daughter, she starred on Sons of Anarchy (an HBO worthy show that airs on FX). In the interview below, Grayden reveals that her characters have died in many of her previous roles. She also says the coolest death was on Sons of Anarchy because it was so intense. In that series, her character Donna Lerner was shot in the head. I wonder if this little tidbit reveals anything about what might happen to her character on 24! We’ll have to wait and see. 24 airs on Monday nights, at 9:00 PM ET on Fox.

In tonight’s new episode of 24 (Day 7: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM), Jack must prevent a high-impact terror threat in the U.S. Meanwhile, General Juma (Tony Todd) takes over Dubaku’s attacks on America. Last week, Jack was attempting to secretly infiltrate the White House to interrogate a chief of staff (Eyal Podell).

I don’t know about you, but I find the episodes of 24 quite fascinating, simply because the things that happen are amazing. It kind of makes you wonder if the real White House security team ever takes a look at episodes of 24 to take notes.  By 20 minutes into the show, the White House is under siege and General Juma has his first hostage. 24 airs on Monday nights on Fox at 9:00 PM. The man has had an amazing couple of months. He was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in December, and the new season of 24 began this week. You can see the rest of his appearance on Kimmel here.

Sutherland talks about filming for the series, and briefly mentioned how the WGA strike affected the show. He also revealed what it was like for the 24 writers to bring a character back from the dead (Tony Almeida).

Kiefer owns the record label, Ironworks Studio, and has signed several bands. He alludes to some of the challenges involved in this endeavor.

The 4-hour premiere of 24, called Day 7, debuted this week over 2 nights (Sunday and Monday). This was also a celebration of 24′s 150th Episode during this fourth hour of the two-night event.

In the video, Kyra talks about the show, and her character as she is asked various questions from press reps. They also ask about her dress, her daughter, how she keeps fit, and how long the show is going to last. This was in 2007, and the series has continued to garner success since then.

The movie is also up for Best Screenplay and Best Original Score. The show itself is going to be amazing with a huge list of A-list actors presenting tonight.

Kiefer Sutherland (Jack Bauer) and cast members Robert Carlyle (Carl Benton), Jon Voight(Jonas Hodges), Cherry Jones (Allison Taylor), Tony Todd (Colonel Juma), Hakeem Kae-Kazim (Colonel Dubaku) and Gil Bellows (Frank Trammel) attended. Series director Jon Cassar and executive producer Howard Gordon were at the screening, and they are all obviously psyched about the new season, and more importantly, what Redemption means to the series.

This is a fine jump into Season 7, and from seeing the trailer, its full of action and some tough decision making on the part of our favorite CTU character, Jack Bauer. This time, Jack goes up against a ruthless dictator (portrayed by Tony Todd,pictured above) who uses innocent children as a part of his army.

This is not your run-of-the-mill 24 episode (if there is such a thing) as we find out something about his past, and what it does to affect the future.

The new season of 24 approaches, kicked off by a 2 hour television premiere on Fox. This time, Jack Bauer is taking a break from being in Los Angeles, and running with the FBI! Filmed in Cape Town, South Africa and Los Angeles, this episode stars Emmy Award winner Kiefer Sutherland, Cherry Jones, Robert Carlyle, Gil Bellows and Academy Award winner Jon Voight.

This amazing episode bridges the gap between Season 6 and Season 7 which begins on January 11.  With his freedom in jeopardy, Jack Bauer is now wanted by the government after sacrificing everything for his country. He’s working as a missionary in South Africa, and is asked to help stop the drafting of children into a brutal militia, and face a vicious warlord.

There are also hints of the new season, which brings us a female president in office, and someone back from the dead! Fox’s press release calls this special 2 hour event an epic tale, and 24 fans will no doubt be enthralled by it, and the new season.

Criminal Minds: Wil Wheaton, actor, blogger, author and now Criminal Mind’s guest star, talked at the con about the history of his blogging, his writing adventures…and his latest guest role on an upcoming episode in this next season of Criminal Minds.

In the video interview, he talks also about his sons, and it’s awesome to hear about him being such a cool dad.

Wheaton’s debut on CR is at the beginning of the new season. Since he’s been sworn to secrecy about his activities there, you can read some of his personal stuff about the whole experience at his blog, WWdN: In Exile, and then in October, when he releases more info at his blog on TV Squad, we’ll have all the juicy details about the “behind-the scenes” trip in this special episode.

Fringe: Kristin at E!Online reveals some goodness about Fringe star Joshua Jackson’s backside, and a little about the series, and her chats with him and Joss Whedon.

THR’s Con wrap story suggest reception for FBI drama Fringe was slightly off-center, even though Fox reps were busy passing out awesome swag items. It was also noted that a group of cows were lined up in a parking lot near the convention center, no doubt as a take from the first episode scene, and this also garnered some strange review. Really?

24: Word is that Fox’s 24 was huge, and Kiefer Sutherland finally answered the most pressing and important question about the show: When does Jack Bauer go to the restroom?

Bones: Searching Bones is reporting that stars Michaela Conlin and John Francis Daly (Dr. Sweets) were both at the con, talking about their roles on the show and future plans. Looks like someone is headed for romance next season!

As a fan of Fox’s TV series 24, I’m ecstatic that Jon Voight has been tapped for the upcoming seventh season which begins with a 2 hour Season 7 Prequel on November 23.

The prequel is now being filmed in South Africa, and as was noted, 24 has not seen this type of excitement since Dennis Hopper appeared in Season 1 as a Serbian nationalist.

It’s pretty awesome when A-listers are cast in wildly popular TV series. As a matter of fact, I still have goose bumps from seeing Val Kilmer as Mason Lancer in the FBI drama Numb3rs.

Voight will be the mastermind behind the latest terrorist threat, and play super arch villain to Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer.

SAG Strike…Someone Is Getting Prepared

Speaking of 24, the series is one of the most prepared in case a SAG strike occurs according to Hollywood Reporter. Also, shows that have been in continuous production after the WGA Strike are almost strike proof as they have a good bit of episodes already in the box. Notably, some of those shows are crime and FBI crime dramas: Criminal Minds, Bones, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and CSI: NY.
