]]> Law & Order: SVU star, Mariska Hargitay was recently hospitalized due to a partially collapsed lung according to the AP. Although her role on the series is that of a hard-nosed (and at times snarky) NY detective,  she is a very funny lady in real life. Check out this fan video of Mariska in some of her funniest talk show moments, and read more about her recent illness here:

 

 

In this short video, the funniest moments seem to be related to a meeting between her and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Her role as Detective Olivia Benson on the Special Victims Unit has garnered her much success, winning her both an Emmy and a Golden Globe.

It’s been noted that she is feeling better, and a representative for the NBC series production company says she will continue to appear in all the season episodes. As noted earlier, she was nominated again for a 2009 Golden Globe award, however she was not present for the ceremony this year.

It was also noted at TV Guide that Hargitay was on vacation when it happened and was not hurt while on the set.
