I know some of us get bored with the same obligatory romance idea, the one in which we have to pair up our favorite crime drama characters (Prentiss and Hotchner, Jack Bauer witch Chloe, etc.). This week’s episode of Criminal Minds is a special rebroadcast called 52 Pickup. Agents Prentiss (Paget Brewster) and Todd (Meta Golding) go undercover to profile a serial killer, or pick-up artist, who uses skills of persuasion to lure women into danger. This is a very creepy episode.
Some of the highlights include a witness who has the guts to call Agent Morgan an alpha-male baldy, and make a scary come-on to Agent Prentiss in the same interview. Although Criminal Minds recently lost a few writers due to economic times per Criminal Minds Fanatic, the rest of the amazing season is still ahead of us. I know we’ll miss those writers with their witty and weird stories. Meanwhile, this week’s episode, called Conflicted guest stars Twilight’s Jackson Rathbone.

The BAU team travels to South Padre, Texas to investigate deaths of students who are being targeted by a serial killer while on Spring Break. Twilight Times has some images of Rathbone on the set with Shemar Moore and Matthew Gray Gubler.

Criminal Minds’ star Paget Brewster in a recent interview talks about being featured in tonight’s new episode called Demonology. Check out this short video of her as Agent Prentiss taking a beat down from a crazy cult leader (portrayed by Luke Perry) in the season 4 episode 3, Minimal Loss.
For me, this is one of the most painful scenes to watch, but I’m sure Brewster is very proud of her work here. Read more about her featured role tonight, and of what she reveals about the story.

After watching season after season of Criminal Minds, some of us are pining for our favorite BAU agents to get involved and get just a bit closer.

One fan asked TV Guide’s Mitovich if Agents Hotcher (Thomas Gibson) and Prentiss (Paget Brewster) will become a couple at some point. This is a logical question since these two have a bit of history …of sorts. He met her though a security clearance process for her mother, who is an Ambassador. I should have known this episode would be pretty big. The team heads to NY, Garcia gets to go, and a strange pattern of killings? Yes, it was big. Tonight’s third season finale of Criminal Minds was no letdown. It delivered with a face pace, high stakes for everyone, and some truths that finally got their due.
